News New Shared Footer Branding for XenCustomize Add-ons

Upcoming Footer Branding Changes for XenCustomize Add-ons​

We have started rolling out an updated footer branding system for compatible XenCustomize add-ons.

Previously, each add-on could display its own footer branding link, for example:

Events Manager by XenCustomize | Project Tracker by XenCustomize | Hashtags by XenCustomize | Online Time Tracker by XenCustomize

This worked well when we had a smaller number of add-ons. However, as our catalog has grown to 60+ premium add-ons, displaying a separate footer link for each installed add-on is no longer ideal.

Going forward, compatible XenCustomize add-ons will use a cleaner shared footer branding line instead of separate branding links for each add-on.

What Is Changing?​

Newer compatible add-ons will display a single shared XenCustomize footer branding line.

This shared line includes:

• A link to XenCustomize.com homepage
• A details link showing the compatible XenCustomize products used on that site

This keeps the footer cleaner, more consistent, and easier to manage when multiple XenCustomize add-ons are installed together.

Branding-Free License Support​

With XenCustomize Core Library v1.0.1+ and our internal License Manager system, supported add-ons can now handle branding removal in a much simpler way.

For compatible add-ons, customers can remove branding by entering a valid branding-free license key. Once verified, branding removal is handled automatically.

We also support Global Branding Free licenses. A valid global branding-free license can remove branding across compatible XenCustomize add-ons on the licensed domain after the local license cache refreshes automatically, or after the license is refreshed manually.

Current Rollout​

We have released XenCustomize Core Library 1.0.1 along with the first compatible add-on updates using this new shared footer branding system:

• XenCustomize Core Library 1.0.1
• XenCustomize Events Manager 2.3.11.3
• XenCustomize Project Tracker 2.3.2
• XenCustomize News Publisher 2.3.14
• XenCustomize Impersonate Content 2.3.3

These add-ons now use the new shared footer branding approach.

Over the coming days, we will continue releasing updates for our other add-ons so they follow the same consistent system.

Do You Need to Upgrade Immediately?​

You only need to upgrade XenCustomize Core Library v1.0.1 when one of your installed XenCustomize add-ons specifically requires the newer version (v1.0.1).

If your current add-ons are working normally and do not require Core Library 1.0.1 yet, you should continue using your current version until an add-on update requires it.
