New Features​

• Rich BBCode Sharing: Introduced the [YEARINREVIEW] BBCode tag. When shared in forum posts, it renders a fully interactive, responsive scroller showcasing the user’s yearly impact cards.
• Enhanced Share Experience: Replaced the standard share button with a native XenForo-style Share Tooltip. This AJAX-powered menu provides centralized access to social sharing, BBCode, and text snapshots.
• Interactive BBCode Scroller: Implemented a custom JS-driven horizontal scroller for the BBCode output, complete with navigation arrows and touch-support for mobile devices.
• Default Year Selection: Added the ability to choose whether the landing page should default to the "Current Year" or "Previous Year." By default, this is set to Previous Year to ensure users see complete data from the most recently concluded year.
• Exclude User Groups from Rankings: Added a new admin option to exclude specific user groups (like Bots or Staff) from "Top Contributors" leaderboards and individual "Community Rank" calculations for total data consistency. (Suggested by @foiovitor)
• New Style Properties:
  1. Added dedicated style properties for the Community Rank badge, allowing for precise color control and significantly improved legibility in Dark Mode.
  2. Added a comprehensive set of 16+ new style properties, including a dedicated color palette for impact cards.

Improvements & Refinements​

• Feature Rebranding: The original text-based sharing functionality has been rebranded as "Text Snapshot" and moved into the new Share Menu for a cleaner header UI.
• Statistics Logic: Improved the rank calculation repository and rebuild jobs to respect group exclusions globally.
• Rank Accuracy: Synchronized the mathematical formula between the Repository and BBCode share tool to ensure "Better Than %" parity across the board.

Bug Fixes​

• Resolved "Better Than %" Mismatch: Fixed a calculation discrepancy where the percentage displayed in shared BBCode/Snapshots could differ from the value on the main Year in Review page. (Reported by @TFW)
• Installer Fix: Fixed an issue in the Installer where specific user-ranking columns were not being created on fresh installations. (Reported by @TFW)
• Upgrade Logic: Added robust upgrade steps to ensure ranking columns are correctly added to the xf_user table for users migrating from older versions.

XenCustomize Year in Review 2.0.6 Released!​

Year in Review v2.0.6, a significant update focused on community engagement and data precision. This version introduces a brand-new Rich BBCode Sharing experience, allowing users to showcase their yearly impact directly within forum posts. Utilizing the new [YEARINREVIEW] tag, the add-on now renders a fully interactive, JS-driven horizontal scroller that displays a user's statistics cards in a responsive, touch-friendly format.

To complement this, we’ve overhauled the sharing interface with a native Share Stats Menu. This quick menu provides a centralized hub for social sharing, BBCode generation, and the rebranded "Text Snapshot" tool which we have since the initial release (2.0.0).

We’ve also introduced a highly requested Default Year Selection option. Admins can now choose whether the landing page defaults to the current year or the previous year — ensuring that during the early months of 2026, your members are greeted with their complete, high-impact data from 2025 by default.

For administrators seeking finer control over community leaderboards, this update adds the ability to exclude specific user groups (such as Staff or Bots) from rankings and contributor lists. This ensures that "Top Contributor" data remains authentic to your most active community members. Furthermore, we’ve added 20+ new style properties, including dedicated controls for the Community Rank badge and a custom color palette for impact cards, ensuring perfect legibility across both Light and Dark modes.

Finally, we’ve prioritized data integrity by synchronizing the mathematical formulas across the repository and sharing tools. This resolves reported (by @TFW) discrepancies in the "Better Than %" calculations, ensuring total parity regardless of where the stats are viewed. With improved installer logic and robust upgrade steps for existing users, v2.0.6 is our most stable and feature-rich version yet.
